Tom Brady’s latest Instagram share has Twitter collectively dropping the head-exploding emoji.
On Saturday, the Buccanneers quarterback posted a photo to his Instagram story from the inside of his car, highlighting the 99-degree temperature outdoors.
Though the post could have been overlooked by some, eagle-eyed sleuths noticed a not-so-hidden detail about Brady’s accessories, namely his six-year-old smartphone.
“Tom Brady really out here using an iPhone 6 Plus,” one fan tweeted.
“Tom Brady, the most successful athlete in football, still only has an iPhone 6+???” another posted.
“Tom Brady has all the money in the world and he still has an iPhone 6+.. the ones that malfunction and die if it’s under or over 70 degrees,” one user wrote.
Though some fans speculated Brady’s iPhone 6+ is used for music purposes only, others proposed the phone could be a nod to his six Super Bowl rings.
Deflategate jabs were also thrown into the conversation, as Brady previously claimed his cell phones are regularly destroyed.
Perhaps Brady will receive an upgrade Monday when he celebrates his 43rd birthday.
