Toledo-area consumers report problems accessing dozens of websites and apps.
TOLEDO, Ohio — Buckeye Broadband is reporting a global internet outage that is impacting customers in the Toledo area.
The company said on Facebook that they are working with their national providers to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Other companies, such as Century Link, also reported the outage.
As of 5 p.m. on Sunday, Buckeye Broadband had removed the original post from their Facebook page and offered no further updates.
Buckeye technical support however did indicate that the nationwide problem was still not resolved and parts of Toledo were still affected.
It's unclear when the issue might be resolved.
CenturyLink did say in a Facebook post that the outage that affected their customers had been restored.
CNN Business reports that Cloudflare, an internet service that is responsible for keeping websites up and running was down Sunday as well.
