When Samsung released the Q9F QLED back in 2018, TechRadar called it “the only TV you’ll ever need in your life.” It’s got a 4K HDR picture boasting incredible brightness and contrast, and its high refresh rate is ideal for sports and playing video games. At launch, however, it was unimaginably expensive for most people. But less than two years later, B&H is selling that same TV for just $2,799 — which is $7,300 off what it used to go for.
Of course, it’s 2020 now, and there is a multitude of excellent, newer big-screen 4K TVs to choose from. If you’re in the market for the best possible picture quality, an OLED TV is still the way to go; the 75-inch LG C9 ($4,300) is a great option. If you’re looking for a great 75-inch option and you’re on a budget, Vizio’s 8-Series ($1,800) is probably the best deal you’re going to find right now.
