JENNIFER: IT WAS A SCENE JUST LIKE THIS RECENTLY WHEN SIX-YEAR-OLD REAGAN CAST HER LINE IN THE SEVERN RIVER, AND IT WASN’T LONG BEFORE SHE MADE THE CATCH OF THE DAY. >> WE WERE FISHING, AND MY FIRST CATCH, MY MOM HELPED ME. AND THAT FOR LIKE TWO SECONDS, WE CAUGHT A CELL PHONE. >> IT WAS SO GROSS, COVERED IN CLAMS AND ALL KINDS OF GUNK. JENNIFER: FAMILY TOOK IT HOME AND TO TRY IT OUT -- >> REPORTED NICE. >> WE PLUGGED IT IN AND WHAT HAPPENED? >> CHARGED. >> WE WERE AMAZED. JENNIFER: TO FIND THE OWNER, SHE POSTED ABOUT IT ON A LOCAL FACEBOOK PAGE. >> ALL OF US AND I CAME ACROSS THIS POST THAT SAID YOU WILL NEVER BELIEVE THIS, BUT WE FOUND A PHONE. >> IT WAS PRETTY AMAZING. >> AMAZING BECAUSE EIGHTH-GRADER PRESTON SCHAPIRO NEVER THOUGHT HE WOULD SEE HIS PHONE AGAIN. HE LOST IT WHEN KAYAKING WITH A FRIEND. >> THREW IT WITH MY FRIEND ANDREW AND IT FELL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE RIVER. I HAD NO IDEA THIS WAS GOING TO WORK. >> IT DID.
