Donald DuRousseau joined IT Services as director of research computing on June 29.
In this role, DuRousseau will provide strategic leadership in the areas of cyberinfrastructure technologies and academic research computing services for the university.
DuRousseau brings 20 years of technology experience including leadership with Cyber Security Education Solutions and George Washington University. He holds an M.B.A. from George Washington University and a B.S. in Computational Neuroscience from the University of California, Berkeley.
"This is a key role for IT Services as we partner with academic leaders on our campus to enhance and support the university's research and discovery goals," said Steve Krogull, interim chief information officer. "Donald's focused experience within academic research will help us meet the needs of our students, faculty and staff in new innovative ways.
